Patrick O’Malley serves as Vice President and Chief Commercial & Marketing Officer for Landstar. He is responsible for Landstar’s field organization, agency recruitment, development and support as well as Corporate Sales Solutions, government services, specialized freight services and trailer operations.
Mr. O’Malley joined Landstar in 1985 as an Operations Coordinator and has held various administrative positions throughout his career including Director of Fleet Management, Landstar Vice President of Safety, President of the Landstar Carrier Group, and most recently Landstar Chief Operating Officer.
Mr. O’Malley is a past member of the National Safety Council DDC International Advisory Committee, past Board member of the Florida Trucking Association and an active member of the National Defense Transportation Association.
He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Northern Iowa. He lives in Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida, with his wife Doreen. They have two grown children.
