Every month Landstar recognizes an independent agent or agency for actively participating and supporting programs that improve safety. By incorporating safety practices in to his or her normal routine and advocating loss prevention, these individuals are recognized as Landstar Safety Officers of the Month. Contributions may include working with shippers to eliminate cargo loss or damage through improved packaging or securement practices, reducing the risk of accidents and claims through improved communication and dispatch procedures or working with local authorities to improve conditions for commercial vehicles to allow large trucks safe transit. The men and women listed below work hard every day to keep our roadways, customer cargo and shipper facilities safe for everyone. Landstar is proud to be associated with them.
