> Joe Beacom
Joe Beacom serves as Vice President and Chief Compliance, Security & Safety Officer for Landstar. He is responsible for overseeing all issues surrounding safety, security and accident prevention for Landstar System and its subsidiaries.
Mr. Beacom joined Landstar in 1993 as Senior Director of Operations for Landstar Inway, Inc. Since then, he has held various management positions throughout the company. Prior to joining Landstar, Mr. Beacom served in various sales and operations positions in the less-than-truckload sector of the transportation industry. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Iowa State University. Mr. Beacom lives in Jacksonville, Florida, with his wife, Amy, and their two children.
