Landstar owner-operator remedies and expert tips for dealing with stress while on the road are featured in The Road to Success® magazine’s first issue of 2025.

Landstar announced the winners of two annual safety awards at its 2025 Agent Convention in April. The awards were the Landstar Safety Officer (LSO) of the Year and the Mutual Understanding of Safety Together (M.U.S.T.) Customer of the Year.

More than 120 Landstar owner-operators and invited guests attended the second annual safety meeting in Flint, Michigan, jointly hosted by half a dozen independent Landstar freight agencies and Landstar’s safety department.

The National Safety Council (NSC) recognized Landstar Transportation Logistics, Inc. for “Remarkable Results” in the organization’s awards for Excellence in Driver Safety Training for “leading in their field in building safer drivers.”

BCO Stacie Simmons won a bright blue 2025 Kenworth T-680 last week at the 2024 Landstar BCO Appreciation Days event in Durant, Oklahoma. 

The annual BCO Appreciation Days event is two days of networking opportunities, educational presentations, safety meetings, prizes and a vendor expo, where BCOs can talk to companies that offer different services as part of LCAPP – Landstar Contractors’ Advantage Purchasing Program.

Landstar business capacity owner (BCO) Rebecca Heck is on her way to compete in a national truck driving competition after an impressive victory in the Illinois Truck Driving Championship. In June, she took first place in the 5-axle division.
